5 Broken Cameras

by Emad Burnat and Guy Davidi

2011 | Documentary | 90 min.

A Palestinian photojournalist chronicles his village’s resistance to a Separation Barrier being erected on their land and, in the process, captures his young son’s lens on the world. Very soon, these events begin to affect his family and his own life. One camera after another used to document these events is shot or smashed. Each camera unfolds a part of his story – and history.
